The author is a born South African and a citizen of Namibia. She started reading from a very young age and never stopped. She also started writing from secondary school days but never published a book due to her career. At the moment she has decided to take a break from the farm and family business and do what she always dreamed of, to publish her own stories.

As a person with a great love for Africa, its nature, its beautiful people and animals most of her books play off in Africa. She loves to travel and with children in Europe, some of her stories reflect Europe in them.

She is married to a professional soldier, turned businessman and farmer and the love of her life since high school. She lives her best possible life between their farm and a home at the coast.
